The BBC is expected to confirm tomorrow that its dedicated Scotland television channel will move online only. I’ve seen television change before. I’m less interested in where they put the programmes than whether they remember to take Scotland with them.
The promises are legal, the progress is real, and the gap is still enormous. The figures refuse to arrange themselves into anyone’s preferred political story.
